Acerca de mí I am a consultant and trainer in personal and organizational effectiveness. Since 1974 I have provided training for business people, healthcare professionals, human service providers, educators, clergy, and others. I am principal of my own consulting company and founder and director of the Center for Transforming Leadership. I serve as Coordinator of Special Projects for Niagara University, which includes direction of the Experience And Growth in Leadership Education program. I also serve as Advisor to the University’s Interdisciplinary Minor in Leadership. I am a Managing Distributor for Inscape Publishing and a Certified Facilitator for Achieveglobal. I have served as Senior Consultant for the Healthcare Careers Center of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, as Training Associate for the Institute for Work/Family Balance at the University at Buffalo, and as an adjunct faculty member for other colleges in Western New York. I also have served as a Certified Instructor for the American Association of Professional Consultants.
I have had numerous articles and two books published and have received several national awards for writing, editing, and marketing. I have been a recipient of the Trainer of the Year Award from the Niagara Frontier Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. I have been recognized for Outstanding Teaching and Dedication by Niagara University’s College of Business Administration. My contributions as an adjunct faculty member have been recognized two years in a row by the University’s Office of Multicultural & International Student Affairs. I was the first to receive the Leadership Award presented by the Buffalo Chapter of the International Management Network and was similarly honored by the Buffalo Chapter of the International Management Council. I have been a recipient of the Langston Hughes Institute Volunteer Arts Award.
I am a graduate of Hobart College in Geneva, NY, and hold a Master’s degree from SUNY at Geneseo. I have specialized training in human resource development. I also have had management experience. I am a member of American Society for Training and Development, Institute Of Noetic Sciences, National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs, and New York State Leadership Educators Consortium.
